The Sibsey Annual Parish Council meeting will be held on Tuesday 21st May 2024 at Northlands Village Hall commencing at 7pm. The business to be dealt with is listed in the agenda below.
Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.
Item 4 will be for members of the public for a maximum of 15 minutes ask questions or make short statements to the council.

AGENDA
1 To elect a Chairperson for the ensuing year (2024/2025)
2 To receive the Declaration of Acceptance of Office as Chairperson of Sibsey Parish Council 2023/2024
3 To elect a Vice Chairperson for the ensuing year (2024/2025)
4 Public Forum
To resolve to suspend the meeting for a maximum of 15 minutes to allow members of the public to ask questions or make short statements to the Council
5 Apologies for absence and reasons given
To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Clerk prior to the meeting
6 To receive any Declarations of Interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011, and to consider any applications for dispensations in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests
7. Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) 2023/2024
a) To receive the report of the internal auditor and RFO’s response
b) To approve the Annual Governance Statement (Section 1 of the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR)) for financial year 2022/2023 and authorise the signing by the Chairperson and Parish Clerk; and
c) To approve the Accounting Statements (Section 2 of the AGAR) and authorise the signing by the Chairperson and Responsible Financial Officer
8. Financial Matters
a) Financial Report as per summary
b) To approve payments as per summary
9. Any other matters for discussion by leave of Chairperson
10. Date of next Parish Council Meeting
As previously scheduled the next meeting will be held on Tuesday 4th June 2024 at Northlands Village Hall
