Minutes of Sibsey Parish Council Extraordinary Meeting held Tuesday 27th January 2026 at
Northlands Village Hall, Northlands, Sibsey commencing at 7.00pm

PUBLIC FORUM
There was no Public Forum at this meeting.
1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE AND REASONS GIVEN
All Parish Councillors were in attendance therefore no apologies were required to be given.
2. TO RECEIVE ANY DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LOCALISM ACT 2011, AND TO CONSIDER ANY APPLICATIONS FOR DISPENSATIONS IN RELATION TO DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTERESTS
No declaration of interests were received,
3. TO SET BUDGET IN RELATION TO 2026/27 PRECEPT
At the Financial Forum meeting following draft budget set by the RFO was viewed and evaluated, it was suggested that the budget will be £115,725 and with £5000 being subsidised by other income it was suggested that the Precept request will be £110,575 an increase of 5.17%. Following proposal by Cllr Limb, seconded by Cllr Heath and resolved to ask for a Precept of £110,575.
4. ANY OTHER MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION BY LEAVE OF CHAIRMAN
Matters were discussed about Pymoor Lane and the unauthorised building following a meeting with the Lease Holder and a member from The Bears Committee. Cllr Watts relayed that he has previously been to the site in which the building has been assessed and several factors put across to The Bears on how to proceed with this matter.
5. DATE OF THE NEXT PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
The next scheduled Parish Council meeting will be on Tuesday 3rd February 2026 at Northlands Village Hall, Northlands, Sibsey commencing at 7pm.
There being no further business the meeting finished at 7.26pm.
